Juror:
JOSEPH T. MARKS is an artist, curator, consultant, designer, and juror. He was on the faculty at The University of Michigan, Dearborn for 37 years, where he retired as the Curator Emeritus of Collections and Exhibitions.
Joe served on the Board of Directors of the Water Color Society, the Advisory Board of the Dearborn Community Arts Council, and the Advisory Committee for the Padzieski Gallery. He also has served on the Board of Trustees of the Creative Glass Center of America. In 2008, he received the “Bravo Award” at the Mayor’s Art Awards in Dearborn, Michigan.
He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Arts from Wayne State University. His paintings have been accepted into exhibitions throughout Michigan and several other states in group shows, two person, and solo exhibits. Joe has served as a juror for a dozen art organizations throughout the state of Michigan.
